Seasonal Catering Cook #700

Salary: $21 - $21 Per Hour

The Catering Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of foods, ensuring that they are of high quality and presented attractively. You will work closely with the executive chef and other team members to ensure that all orders are completed on time and to the satisfaction of our residents.

Compensation: $21.00 Hourly
Schedule: Seasonal position through May 2026. Work hours may vary and can include shifts such as 6:00 a.m.– 2:00 p.m., 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., or 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., depending on operational needs.

General Accountabilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of foods for large events.
  • Follow recipes and prepare food to a high quality standard.
  • Monitor food stock and order supplies as needed.
  • Prepare ingredients, including chopping and slicing meat and vegetables.
  • Collaborate with other team members of the catering team to ensure that orders are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Ensure all food items are properly labeled and stored.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards

Work Environment

This job operates in a kitchen environment, housed with equipment such as an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer and chef’s knives. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
