BILINGUAL ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE COLLECTIONS

The Accounts Receivable position will oversee cash applications for 1,000+ home loans and collections to ensure accounts are current. This position offers a unique blend of cash applications, collections, and accounts payable duties as well as assisting the supervisor with month-end reconciliation and month-end reporting.Bilingual: Spanish speaking required.

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 Hourly

Possible Schedules:

• Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm
• Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Responsible for home loan cash applications
• Responsible for collections.
• Responsible for some accounts payable.
• Maintenance of new loans, including reviewing documents for accuracy and completion.
• Generation and processing of welcome letters, statements, and past-due notices.
• Assist in establishing manageable payment plans for past-due accounts.
• Assist with month-end closing including bank reconciliation and monthly reporting to management for multiple companies.
• Assist with year-end preparation.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of payables, receivables, or general accounting experience required
• AA in Accounting and/or strong understanding of accounting principles
• Excel skills - intermediate to advance
• Bilingual: Spanish speaking required
